
2025 National Indigenous Diabetes Conference Registration is now OPEN!
15 January 2025We are looking for Indigenous vendors who are interested in selling their work for one day only at the 2025 Diabetes Canada/CSEM Professional Conference. This is a great opportunity to showcase and sell your products to a large and diverse audience.

Friday, November 28, 2025, from 9am to 5pm EST
Location: Metro Toronto Convention Centre (255 Front St W, Toronto, ON)
In an effort to celebrate and support Indigenous people, culture and heritage, Diabetes Canada (DC), in partnership with the National Indigenous Diabetes Association (NIDA), are honoured to host the Indigenous Artisan Market. This unique one-day event will feature a diverse range of authentic art and craft, including: beadwork, textiles, clothing and other creative expressions. Direct payment to vendors will be available through cash and alternative payment methods. 100% of sales go directly to the artisans.
- Selected artisans will receive a free vendor table courtesy of NIDA and DC.
- Artists must be able to take their own form of payment, cash, e-transfer and square or credit cards, etc.
- Artisans must make their own travel, parking and meal arrangements as no support is included for this.
- 10 artisans will be selected.
- The Indigenous Science and Content Stream Committee will select final artisans as a group. Artisans selection will be based off variety of various crafts.
- NO FOOD SALES ARE PERMITTED, ONLY CRAFTS.
