2018 National Indigenous Diabetes Conference: Sponsorship Opportunities

Take this opportunity to showcase your organization, company or crafts at the diabetes conference of the year! 

With your support the 2018 National Indigenous Diabetes Conference will benefit many diabetes front-line workers, community representatives and individuals living with diabetes working for positive change through wholistic health and wellness awareness and education.  By partnering with the National Aboriginal Diabetes Association, the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs, and the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre, you will contribute to healthier communities across the country.

Sponsorship in the 2018 National Indigenous Diabetes Conference provides opportinities to bring attention to your organization, company or product; enhance community relations; and demonstrate your commitment to Indigenous health and wellness, and reconciliation.

Sponsorship Opportunities

PLATINUM – $12,000
Your participation will be highlighted as a Platinum Sponsor with enhanced recognition on all marketing materials, website, on-site signs, materials and packages; delivering remarks at the banquet or opening or closing plenary; one complimentary pass to the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

OPENING LUNCH – $5,000
The opening lunch is a great opportunity for a sponsor to deliver remarks to delegates at lunch, provide table signs and/or organizational information at all seats. You will also receive one complimentary pass to the conference; acknowledgement of your contribution throughout the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

CLOSING LUNCH – $5,000
The sponsor of the closing luncheon will have an opportunity to deliver remarks at the lunch, introduce the guest speaker, and provide table signs and/or organizational information at all seats. You will also receive one complimentary pass to the conference; acknowledgement of your contribution throughout the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

REGISTRATION – $5,000
Your organization name and logo will be prominently displayed on a banner welcoming delegates at registration. Your organization will also be identified on delegate name badges; receive one complimentary pass to the conference; acknowledgement of your contribution throughout the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

SESSION SPONSOR – $3,000
The national conference features several concurrent sessions that focus on healthy living and wholistic wellness. These sessions will be interactive and engaging and will provide delegates with lessons and tools for promoting healthy living and wholistic wellness. Your organization will be identified as the sponsor of the session and a representative will be invited to moderate the session. You will also receive one complimentary pass to the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

EXHIBITOR PASSPORT – $3,000
All conference delegates receive an exhibitor passport in which exhibitors are identified. Delegates are encouraged to visit all booths to learn about exhibitors and to return their completed passport for entry in a draw for prizes. The logo of the passport sponsor will be included on the cover of the passport booklet. You will also receive one complimentary pass to the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

NUTRITION BREAK – $2,500
There will be a total of four (4) nutrition breaks throughout the conference. If your organization promotes wellness, fitness, nutrition, and/or healthy living generally, sponsorship will provide you the opportunity to be recognized as a leader in your field. Nutrition Break Sponsors will enjoy printed recognition as a Nutrition Break Sponsor in all printed material, one complimentary pass to the conference; enhanced visibility in the exhibit area; and complimentary booth space.

We welcome submissions related to all things related to wellness of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples... diabetes and healthy-living, Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative, seasonal recipes, seasonal physical activity, kids’ activities, eye care, physical activity, foot care, mental health, food sovereignty, food security, nutrition, research, community and personal success stories with diabetes management and prevention.

Articles are accepted in MS Word format, can be up to 600 words, and can include pictures or graphics. Pictures may be submitted in jpeg format.
